If recent history has proven anything, It's that a natural disaster can happen at any time, anywhere. Earthquakes are one of the deadliest geological events that can happen either by the rupture of geological faults that has stored enough energy or by human activity such as storing large amounts of water behind a dam and possibly building an extremely heavy building that will pressure the tectonic plates. Whatever the case might be, It's the construction sectors responsibility to make sure that we design and build earthquake resistant buildings and use fasteners that will be able to transfer seismic loads from one structural or non-structural element to the other. This Webinar will cover the applications, regulations and design conditions in accordance with Eurocode.
