ACP and Firestop Correlation
When ACP is used as an asthetic element is it still recommended to use fire stops?

Dear Vince,
If i understood correctly, are you talking about exterior facade cladding, If Yes, then the recommendation of using a fire rated sealant like silicon should be from the relevant code requirements and not from the manufacturer/supplier.
As per UAE Code, all exterior facade should be tested as per NFPA 285, which mentions the requirement of ACP Panels and their components.
